Please adhere to the following rules.
All Visitors who participate and use the Club Lucid Forums and Site are expected to read and agree not to break any of the Forum Rules set out below during their time on the site.
These Rules are applicable in all Forums and Site. In addition, individual Forum Rules created by the Forum Moderators may supplement these Rules. Visitors are expected to refer to those Rules also and agree to comply before participating in the Forum.
Club Lucid Rules & Regulations:
1. Try to stay on topic at all times. Try not to drift off topic during a thread conversation. Please don't join in with off topic discussion even if others are. Instead, try starting a new thread and linking to it. Off topic posts may get deleted, and threads that really get out of hand will be closed.
2. Post similar questions together. If you have several questions, it's better to ask them all in the one thread rather than create additional threads to ask each within. Make use of the edit feature in your post to add more information.
3. Try not to post duplicate threads. Use the Forum Search to check if the topic you wish to post exists in the Forum already - it's very possible someone already asked your question! You can also use search engines such as Google to do advanced search of forums for a topic, if you find the individual forum search isn't helping you or is not working. (Forum Search is located in the top of every Forum for convenience.)
4. Use short, concise thread titles. When posting a new thread, it's a good idea to use a short, yet informative title, so it is not too long and other Visitors to the Forum know what your thread is about.
5. Try not to double post!. If you post additional identical replies/posts by mistake, please delete the duplicate replies by clicking the del link at the bottom of each. Where you need to add more information on to your original reply, click edit at the bottom of your post and add more to it, instead of clicking Reply and creating two replies.
6. Do not flood a forum. Flooding is where you post to many threads in a short period of time, perhaps to stay on top of the forum stats, or just to have your name all over the first page of a forum so you are popular, or perhaps because you want someone to see you post a lot there. Other members and guests want to use the forum as well as you. Give them a chance by allowing them to be the last person to reply to a thread.
6a. No BUMPING of your own threads is allowed. Successive posting in your own thread to bring it on top of the forum will be considered as "Bumping", and you may receive an infraction for this act. If you need to reply to multiple posts, please use the "Multi-quote" feature to reply to 5 posts at the same time. If you need to reply to more posts, exceptions can and will be made if deemed necessary.
7. Although swearing and abusive words are allowed, No offensive, insulting, profane or vulgar remarks directed towards someone specific is allowed. This also applies regarding comments about other people who do not frequent the site.
8. Do not impersonate other Visitors. Trying to pretend to be someone else on the site, including "The Crew", is not allowed, because firstly you'll be bad at it and secondly you will be punished!
9. Do not spam. Under no circumstances are you allowed to spam anywhere, within any Forum. If you are caught spamming anywhere, you'll be in trouble!
10. Do not use other accounts to break any of the Forum Rules. Please do not attempt to break rules by using another account for the purpose of anonymity to avoid punishment. All Moderators and Site Crew can find out who you are if they need to!.
11. Do not attempt to break Forum Rules as a Guest. Unregistered Members, or Guests, can also be identified using the same means to identify registered Members, and repeated abuse and rule breaking as a Guest will result in trouble! So don't go clicking Log Out to cause trouble - you can still be tied to your account!
12. Do not create additional registered accounts to bypass an issued ban. Trying to get around a ban using secondary/additional member accounts will result in a permanent banishment of all binding accounts from which you have created. Further abuse will lead to your ISP being informed for site abuse - that can mean you won't have the Internet anymore - yes, even just because you got in trouble on an Internet site!
13. Do not aid other Guests/Members to bypass bans. Using your knowledge of the site workings and Moderator tools to help a troublemaker or banned Visitor will get you in a lot of trouble as well.
14. Pornographic content is not permitted on this site. Young Visitors frequent this Site due to keen interest in Music, and should not be exposed to adult material. This includes the provision of links to source material, or the posting of pornographic text or imagery anywhere on the Site. So keep all of those "special pictures" to yourself, no one wants to see them here at Club Lucid forum.
15. Do not advertise other websites/forums. Advertising through posts is strictly forbidden. This may only be done through your personal Profile, Custom Title or Signature. Advertising another website through Club Lucid to unsolicited Visitors who you are unknown to, in an attempt to raise traffic, is also not permitted. Members who link to other forums or any other type of referral site will lose posting rights on their account permanently.
16. Do not use inappropriate avatars, custom titles or signatures. Using any of these site provisions to show sexually suggestive/blatant sexual imagery or text, profanity, religious, social or personal slandering is a serious offense.
17. Do not pose as a Club Lucid Crew or Moderator. Visitors to the Site who are not recognized Administrators or Moderators with full credentials, should not pose as the aforementioned ranks, through the use of Administrator or Moderator in their Member name, avatar, custom title or signature. The creation of new accounts to pose as any of these ranks is also strictly forbidden, for example, "Club Lucid Admin", "Club Lucid Moderator".
18. Do not attempt to distribute or discuss MP3 file sharing and ways and means to "Download" MP3's other than from legal MP3 sites.
19. No Drug or Drug related topics/discussion will be tolerated in the Club Lucid Forums. You will be warned just once.
20. All the views/suggestion/advice/comments expressed on this forum are solely that of the Members/Guests (not including "The Crew") and not supported by "Club Lucid" or it's "Crew" (Admin's, Mods etc) in any way and "The Crew" or anyone working for "Club Lucid" shall not be held responsible for them.
21. Use of SMS language/vocab/spelling will only be tolerated to an extent in the C.o.R. And will absolutely NOT BE TOLERATED in other serious discussion forums.
Disciplinary Measures:
Should a Visitor be found guilty of breaking one or more of the above Rules, they may serve a variable amount of time under certain restrictions. These can include various punishments like not being able to post as much every day, or being banned from one or more forums completely.
Repeat rule breakers or serious offenders will be subject to a permanent ban, whereby they cannot use site facilities ever again, or in extreme cases, Club Lucid Admin reserves the right to contact the Internet Provider of the Visitor to have them disconnected.
